IMPORTANT UPDATE:
ON 09/21/2010
PINK HAS LOST TOO MUCH WEIGHT TO MAKE UPCOMING PRE-ENTERED AND/OR PLANNEDSHOWS.
Although a handler requested to show him this year at Chicago Nationals, he was not able to attend, due to his weight loss and health issues he suffered while away from us showing. Hopefully he will be at the 2011 Nationals in Chicago.
We thank everyone for the concern they have shown him.
11/09/10
Pink is all but recovered, he needs about 4 more ozs in order to go back into the ring, but he has made a full recovery emotionally, and we hope to have him finished over the next coming months in 2011.
***HANDLER CHANGED***
01/14/11
PINK RETURNS TO THE RING AND TAKES 'WD' ON HIS FIRST DAY BACK!!!!
Took 5 months to recover & he is coming back strong
***PINK IS NOW BEING PROFESSIONALLY HANDLED BY***

"True personality" to show when he is in and out of the ring. If you have a chance to see Jen and him playing ringside; stop by and take a peek,
 it will make everyone smile

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
ON 09/21/2010
PEPE HAS LOST TOO MUCH WEIGHT TO MAKE UPCOMING  PLANNEDSHOWS.
HE HAS RECENTLY LOST OVER 1 POUND OF HIS
"SHOW WEIGHT"

PEPE IS CRITICALLY THIN AND NEEDS ONE ON ONE CARE RIGHT NOW.
WE HOPE THAT THIS FUN LOVING BOY RECOVERS QUICKER THAN WE CAN HOPE
11/09/10
Pepe is just now about 75% recovered from his ordeal. His care was extensive and we had to pull from every feeeding trick we knew of to get him eating on his own again but he is now eating and is about 3/4 of a pound away from returning to his prime weight. Although we still have a way to go, he is showing signs of recovering emotionally. It has been a long haul for Pepe, and we are thankful we recovered him when we did.
01/29/11
Pepe has regained all his weight, and is back to his silly playful self. His body is reconditioned and ready for the ring, We are working on 2 remaining issues, and hoped he would be able to attend EKC show this weekend since it is our kennel club we belong too, and it would of allowed us to see how he is doing under stress. It is still too premature at this time, and instead of risking taking any steps backwards we pulled. We will take our vets advice and wait until April, finish his testing and then decide what are next steps are. Plus it will allow more time for his coat regrowth to come in.

~remains with us~

Ante missed Chicago Nationals this year, where she was entered, and had a handler scheduled to show her. Maybe next year.
11/09/10
Ante is all but recovered from her time away.
01/2011

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

RUMBA HAS LOST TOO MUCH WEIGHT TO MAKE UPCOMING ENTERED AND/OR PLANNEDSHOWS.
HE HAS RECENTLY LOST OVER 2 POUNDS OF HIS
"SHOW WEIGHT"

WE ARE VERY SORRY FOR THE BREAKS IN THE MAJORS HIS ABSENSE WILL CAUSE .
WE WILL BE RETURNING HIM TO THE RING AS SOON AS HE HAS BEEN REALEASED TO COMPETE AGAIN, BY OUR VET'S OF OVER 40+ YEARS
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE RING-SIDE WE WILL MISS SEEING YOU.
PULL DATES START AS SOON AS 09/25 ALL THE WAY THRU MID OCTOBER UNLESS VET'S STATE OTHERWISE

RUMBA BY FAR HAS LOST THE MOST WEIGHT, AND IS IN THE HIGHEST RISK OF HEALTH CONCERNS. HE IS ONE ON ONE CARE RIGHT NOW.
WE HOPE THIS OUTSTANDING BOY WILL RECOVER TO THE JOY HE WAS WHEN HE STARTED RING SIDE

11/09/10
Rumba has had a full return of his lost weight, vets commented that his psychosis has nearly resolved, and for the first time we are starting to see Rumba's spark return. He is once again happy and playful and is not fearful of everything, and is capable to express joy within our families, not with outsiders yet.
He still suffers from some health issues, which we will continue to follow up with our vets, and we will treat accordingly, so he sadly still has months of recovery to go. It is an absolute shame, and our hearts are truely broken for Rumba.
We are not sure if and when he can return to the ring with joy and fun, but we will make every effort to return him. We will update his status here.  Only time will tell what future has in store for Rumba.
This was a learning experience we wish we never had to learn.
01-29-11
Continuing to follow vet guidelines and instruction
progress is very slow
*12-20-11*
RUMBA will need at least one more surgery, may need a second, at this time, we are considering when the optimal time to have the surgery or wait and try to do 2 procedures at one time. We are debating, when or if Rumba should return to the ring. It has been a painful long haul for Rumba. His loving endearing personality has returned to us, and for that we are thankful.
